Hello out there! It's time for some news from the National Hockey League! It's been crazy spring when it's coming to trades and player movement inside the League. Here is a list of our thoughts about the most impressive changes in the League recently.
- Number one is, of course, the roster of the Pittsburgh Penguins. They already had two best players in the League (Crosby,Malkin), top-3 goalie (Fleury),top-3 pair of defencemen (Orpik-Letang) and Stanley Cup winner coach Dan Bylsma. Last week they announced the trades of defenceman Douglas Murray, forward and ex-captain of the Dallas Stars Brenden Morrow and yesterday they traded Calgary Flames icon, captain Jarome Iginla to the Steeltown. If the Penguins aren't gonna get the Cup this year, salmon is not a fish.
- Playoffs are coming and both conferences (East,West) are kinda tough-ones. Western favourites are of course Chicago and Anaheim but you cant forget teams like always-good Canucks and last year champs LA Kings. Penguins and little suprisingly Montreal Canadiens are the favs in the Eastern conference. A miracle has to happen if Penguins will find themselves somewhere else than the finals..
- The struggling of New York Rangers. The blueshirts have played awfully last three weeks and are in the last playoff spot in the Eastern conference. Big names like Gaborik,Staal,Richards and last summers big trade Rick Nash haven't played too good. That was it,have a nice Easter!
